2 Found Dead In Murder-Suicide Behind FL Store Identified

SARASOTA, FL — The two people found dead behind the Ollie’s Bargain Outlet at 4092 Cattleman Road earlier this week have been identified, the Sarasota County Sheriff’s Office news release said.

The bodies of Mandy Coxwell, 34, and Cameron Marsh, 33, were found behind the store Tuesday around 6:30 a.m.

Their bodies were under a semi-truck trailer in the Ollie’s loading bay, the sheriff’s office said.

Deputies found three bullet casings and a handgun near their bodies.

Coxwell died from a gunshot wound to the head, and Marsh sustained fatal wounds from shooting himself under the chin and in the neck, according to the medical examiner's autopsy.

“Local business workers recognized Coxwell and Marsh as familiar figures in the area, sometimes seen panhandling and seeking shelter under trailers and in the loading bay at night,” the sheriff’s office said.

Deputies notified the next of kin. This is an ongoing investigation.
