A double shooting in Sarasota left two people wounded Sunday night, including a teenager, according to the Sarasota Police Department.

SARASOTA, FL — A double shooting in Sarasota left two people wounded Sunday night, including a teenager, according to the Sarasota Police Department.
Genevieve Judge of the agency said the victims were taken to Sarasota Memorial Hospital with life-threatening injuries.
"Both victims, a teenager and adult, remain at Sarasota Memorial Hospital in critical but stable condition," Judge said on Monday.

She said the shooting occurred near the intersection of Carver Court and Orange Avenue.
"This investigation is ongoing and in the early stages," she added. "The investigation so far has revealed this shooting appears to be an isolated incident."
