299 Grams Of Cocaine Seized In Undercover Drug Operation In Sarasota, Bradenton: Sheriff
One person was arrested and charged with drug trafficking in a joint undercover operation in Sarasota and Manatee counties.

SARASOTA-BRADENTON, FL — One person was arrested and nearly 300 grams of cocaine were seized in a joint undercover operation between the Sarasota County Sheriff’s Office and the Manatee County Sheriff’s Office.
Andres R. Gonzalez, 44, was charged with one count of trafficking cocaine on an outstanding warrant, the SCSO said in a news release.
Sarasota County deputies made an undercover purchase from Gonzalez, establishing probable cause to obtain search warrants for searches of homes on 60th Drive East in Bradenton and Lake Ridge Drive in Sarasota, SCSO said.

Gonzalez was present at the Bradenton home when MCSO and the Drug Enforcement Agency served the search warrant there and taken into custody. He was booked into the Manatee County Jail.
The SCSO SWAT team, working with the Sarasota Police Department, served the search warrant at the Sarasota home at the same time.

During the search of the home, detectives found 299.5 grams of cocaine, SCSO said.
