Lockdowns Lifted at 3 Sarasota Schools, Suspects Being Interviewed
Breaking: The Sarasota Police Department said three schools were put on lockdown Friday as officers searched for two auto burglary suspects.

SARASOTA, FL — Two people are being interviewed by Sarasota Police following a Friday morning auto burglary that led to the lockdown of three schools.
According to the Sarasota Police Department, its officers are interviewing two males in connection with the burglary that resulted in the lockdowns at Sarasota High School, Alta Vista Elementary and Sarasota School for Innovative Studies.
Police say the window was broken out of a locked vehicle parked at Sarasota Ford around 10 a.m. A handgun from inside the vehicle was taken.
