38-Year-Old Man Killed After Falling From Truck On I-75
A 38-year-old man was killed Friday when he fell from a box truck along busy Interstate 75, according to Florida Highway Patrol.

SARASOTA, FL — A 38-year-old man was killed Friday when he fell from a box truck along busy Interstate 75, according to the Florida Highway Patrol. The incident happened shortly before 10:30 a.m. about a mile south of River Road.
The victim was identified as Brandon S. Inman of Bradenton, who was a passenger in the Chevrolet truck, Florida Highway Patrol said.

The vehicle was traveling south in the center travel lane when Inman left the front seat to secure the rear door on the right side of the truck. The incident happened at mile market 190.
"He lost his balance and fell from the vehicle and landed within the roadway," the Florida Highway Patrol explained. "The injuries sustained by the passenger were fatal."

The driver of the vehicle was identified as 32-year-old Jason T. Evans of Sarasota. He was not charged pending an investigation. Alcohol was not a factor.
