4 Sarasota Stores Cited For Selling Alcohol To Minors
Three of the store clerks cited for selling alcohol to minors in Sarasota were at convenience stores on Bee Ridge Road.
Four Sarasota convenience stores faced citations for selling to alcohol to a minor during an undercover operation this week.
The Sarasota County Sheriff's Office Juvenile Alcohol Task Force this week cited the following stores and the clerks were given a misdemeanor Notice to Appear:
- — 2800 Bee Ridge Rd., Sarasota
- — 5761 Bee Ridge Rd., Sarasota
- — 4529 Bee Ridge Rd., Sarasota
- — 1135 Beneva Rd., Sarasota
Another 53 businesses received letters commending the owners and staff for not selling alcohol to minors, according to the sheriff's office.
