The broadcast legend will be at the Lakewood Ranch Broken Egg today to as well as to raise awareness and funds for The V Foundation. Production starts at 9:30 a.m., Broken Egg, 6115 Exchange Way.
2. Baltimore Orioles Spring Training tickets go on sale Saturday, and for the first time ever, you can buy them at Sarasota-area Walmarts. 3. Major League Soccer team D.C. United is practicing and training at the and Athletic Edge Sports on Main Street in Lakewood Ranch through the weekend. Their practice sessions are free and open to the public. The practice schedule through the weekend follows: Today, 10 a.m. at PSC and 3 p.m. at Athletic Edge Sports; Saturday, 10:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. at PSC; Sunday, scrimmage game (friendly for you football fans) against the Chicago Fire at 2 p.m. at Florida Gulf Coast University in Fort Myers.
