Allegiant Launches 7 New Flights To, From Sarasota Bradenton Airport

SARASOTA-BRADENTON, FL — Allegiant Air recently began service from Sarasota Bradenton International Airport to seven new destinations.

To celebrate the new routes, the Las Vegas-based airline is temporarily offering one-way fares as low as $39 to these destinations.

“We are excited to expand service at SRQ with Allegiant’s unique brand of ultra-low-cost, all- nonstop flights,” Drew Wells, the airline’s chief commercial office, said. “This addition, part of a larger milestone expansion for Allegiant, will connect more passengers to the people and places they love. Allegiant is committed to providing convenient, affordable flights paired with an exceptional customer experience.”

The new Allegiant routes flying into and out of Sarasota Bradenton International Airport include:

  • Greenville-Spartangburg International Airport in South Carolina
  • Quad Cities International Airport in Moline, Illinois
  • Albany International Airport in New York
  • Elmira Corning Regional Airport in New York
  • Eppley Airfield in Omaha, Nebraska
  • Roanoke-Blacksburg Regional Airport in Virginia
  • McGhee Tyson Airport in Knoxville, Tennessee

The new flights will operate up to twice weekly. Flight days, times and the lowest fares can be found at Allegiant.com.

“We are thrilled to see Allegiant Air expanding their routes to include seven new nonstop destinations operating out of our new Concourse A. This expansion will increase the number of nonstop Allegiant destinations at SRQ to 35, and the total number of nonstop destinations served by all airlines at SRQ to 68,” Rick Piccolo, the airport’s president and CEO, said.
