South Shore Community Church, which is partnering with the school to host the event, will provide each Eagle Academy student with two uniform items for the upcoming regular school year, which starts Monday, Aug. 22.
“Our students worked hard on academics during the morning, enjoyed STEAM activities in the afternoon, exploring science, technology, engineering math and the arts,” said Principal Barbara Shirley. “Their parents participated in a wide variety of classes on Thursday evenings through our Parent University. Some parents earned their General Equivalency Diploma, or GED, while others will graduate from our Certified Nursing Assistant program. We’re pleased to celebrate the successes of students and parents and thank the many people and organizations who make the Eagle Academy possible.”
