
October will usher in two fall classics at the Bobby Jones Golf Club: the 15th Annual City Junior Championship and the 41st Annual Men’s Better Ball Championship. The Junior Championship will be held October 6-7 and the Men’s Better Ball Championship will take place October 20-21.
Registrations are now being accepted for the Junior Championship for golfers, ages 11 to 18. Registration is $50 and includes all golf as well as lunch and beverage each day. Three age divisions will be offered for boys and girls:
- 11-14
- 15-16
- 17-18

The Junior Championship will begin Saturday, October 6 on the British Course at 11:30 a.m. Tee times will be determined by age. The following day, play will begin on the American Course at 9 a.m. Space is limited to the first 100 paid entries.
The Men’s Better Ball Championship is open to all males at least 16 years of age or older. Registration is $190 per team and includes two rounds of golf, tee gift, non-alcoholic on course beverage each day and lunch on Sunday upon completion of the round. The tournament is limited to the first 100 paid entries. Tee times will begin at 8 a.m. The deadline for registration is Monday, October 15 at 5 p.m. Click here to download a registration form.

The Bobby Jones Golf Club, 1000 Circus Boulevard, is owned and operated by the City of Sarasota and offers three courses with a total of 45-holes.
