Education Foundation's Computers for Youth Program receives $100,000 from Selby Foundation
More than 5,420 gently used computers have been refurbished, stuffed with educational software and distributed to Sarasota County school children and their families since 2007.
Now, thanks to a new $100,000 award from the William G. Selby and Marie Selby Foundation, the Education Foundation’s Texcellence program can provide another 1,000 home computers to help students in need keep up with their classmates.
