
Since the Parking Citation Amnesty program started in August, there have been over 5,000 website inquiries to determine whether an unpaid parking ticket is attached to a license tag. Have you checked your tag? The program ends September 30 and a quick inquiry before then could save you money. To do so, click here or visit www.SarasotaPD.org, and click on “Pay a Citation”, then click on and enter your license plate number.
If you have a City of Sarasota parking ticket at least 90 days past due, you are eligible for the amnesty program. You will save $15.00 from the late fee being waived. You also will avoid the new collection process, beginning Monday, October 1, which will include:

- License plate renewal restriction

This is a one-time only opportunity to pay your citation and have the late fee forgiven by the City of Sarasota. Payments must be received by September 30, 2012.

Unpaid parking tickets dating back to 2002 total approximately $700,000. The Parking Division is making every effort to collect those funds.
