Kids who wear their Halloween costumes to The Aquarium at Mote Marine Laboratory on Saturdays and Sundays in October will receive free admission (with purchase of an adult ticket). Mote mascot Gilly the Shark will make special appearances for a few hours on Saturdays throughout the month.
The Aquarium is open 10 a.m.-5 p.m. 365 days per year at 1600 Ken Thompson Parkway in Sarasota. Normal admission is $17 for adults, $16 for seniors over 65, $12 for kids ages 4-12. Kids 3 and younger and Mote Members always get in free
