Animal Services To Hold Adopt-A-Thon

Sarasota County Sheriff's Office Animal Service will host its fall adopt-a-thon on Saturday.

Thinking about a new puppy or kitten for the family? Saturday is the perfect day as Sarasota County Sheriff's Office Animal Service will host its adopt-a-thon.

The event will be held from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Animal Services shelter, 8451 Bee Ridge Road, where the public is invited to check out all the dogs, cats, puppies and kittens up for adoption at a reduced fee.

When you adopt a pet that day, a “starter kit” with food, treats and other useful items will come with your new pet. Folks can also stop by to learn about volunteer opportunities. The event is sponsored by Sarasota In Defense of Animals.
