Body Of Man Found Floating In Sarasota

SARASOTA, FL — Boaters on Saturday afternoon found the body of a man floating several hundred yards away from the Sarasota Yacht Club.

Genevieve Judge of the Sarasota Police Department said the man, who was believed to be in his 40s, was discovered around 1:45 p.m.

"There is no indication of foul play at this time, but the cause of death will be determined by the District 12 Medical Examiner Office," she said.
