Car Break-Ins at Arlington Park Investigated by Police
Three vehicles' windows were smashed and purses taken within a minute last week, Sarasota Police said.

Detectives are investigating a string of burglaries in the parking lot of Arlington Park in Sarasota, where three victims had their purses stolen from their vehicles last week, according to police.
The burglaries happened around 4 p.m. June 6 at Arlington Park, 2650 Waldemere St., a Sarasota Police spokesperson said.
In all three burglaries, the purses were left in plain view in the vehicles. The windows were smashed, and all three break-ins happened within about a minute, police said.
