Cocaine, Oxycodone Seized In Sarasota Drug Bust
A Bradenton man faces criminal charges after a recent drug bust in Sarasota.
SARASOTA, FL — A 26-year-old Bradenton man faces drug-related criminal charges after Sarasota Police say they found him at a 23rd Street home that was the focus of a July 7 warrant search.
According to the agency, the warrant was served at a home in the 1700 block of 23rd Street after officers received complaints about drug sales from residents in the neighborhood. When police arrived at the home, they found Donnie Brinson of Bradenton on the property, a July 13 email from the agency said.

In Brinson’s possession, police say they found 60 grams of marijuana, more than $430 cash and a small digital scale. Since the property where the arrest occurred is within 400 feet from an early learning center, Brinson now faces possession of marijuana with intent to sell within 1,000 square feet of a school and possession of paraphernalia charges.
