County Seeks Input on Paddleboarding, Report Says
Sarasota County is considering allowing paddleboarding at area beaches.

The county is seeking public input to discuss permitting stand-up paddleboarding at area beaches, YourObserver.com reports.
A public forum to discuss the proposed ordinance is scheduled for Tuesday, Aug. 5 at St. Boniface Church at 5615 Midnight Pass Road on Siesta Key from 4 p.m. until 6 p.m.

Another meeting is planned for Tuesday, Aug. 12 from 4 p.m. until 6:30 p.m. at the Nokomis Community Center at 234 E. Nippino Trail in Nokomis.
