Coyote Got Stuck In Bumper After Being Hit By Car In Southwest FL
A coyote got stuck in the bumper of a vehicle after being hit by it in Southwest Florida, the Charlotte County Sheriff's Office said.

CHARLOTTE COUNTY, FL — A coyote was rescued after being hit by a vehicle and getting stuck in its bumper late last week, the Charlotte County Sheriff’s Office wrote in a Facebook post.
Deputies learned that the animal — which they appropriately named Wile E. — had run out in front of the vehicle.
The coyote needed medical attention, so the Wildlife Center of Southwest Florida Rescue and Transport came for him.

“Apparently anvils don’t hurt but vehicles do,” the sheriff’s office said.

He had two broken legs on his left side but is expected to fully recover.
“No roadrunners were located in the area,” the agency said.
