A crash damaged a traffic box at the intersection of Fruitville Road, Osprey Ave., knocking out the traffic signals, Sarasota police said.

SARASOTA, FL A two-vehicle crash with minor injuries knocked out the traffic signals at a Sarasota intersection Wednesday morning, authorities said.

One of the cars crashed into a traffic box at the intersection of Fruitville Road and Osprey Avenue, causing a power outage to the traffic lights, Sarasota police shared in a Facebook post just before 11:30 a.m.

Because the lights at the intersection aren’t working, drivers are asked to treat it like a four-way stop, police said.
