Dog of the Week: Buddy

This week's adoptable dog Buddy needs a buddy of his own.

Buddy is a good looking one-year-old Pointer mix, who weighs just around 45 pounds.  

He came to when his previous owners had to move, but couldn't take him with them.  In Buddy's previous home he lived with children and cats.

A household with children no younger than 12 years of age will be best for Buddy, as he would be too much for little ones. 

The Humane Society recommends obedience classes for Buddy, and they're offered for $65 for a five-week course. Buddy does know how to sit, though.

Buddy is highly motivated by food so that can help speed the training process.
