Dog of the Week: Shadow

Hi, I’m Shadow. 

I am a Rottweiler that weighs in at 75 pounds ,and I'm 9 years old. Oh, and my birthday is Jan. 8, 2003, so start planning the party for the big 1-0.

My family didn’t want to bring me to the shelter, but something happened with our home, and they told me they had no choice.  It’s been hard, but I’m really hoping that someone else really nice has room in their home for me to spend the rest of my life with them.

Let me tell you a little about me — I like stuffed toys, bones, biscuits and bacon strips. 

I like to chase lizards, and go for rides, and I like opening my presents at Christmas. I love tummy rubs and going for swims.  I know how to do High 5, and Sit Pretty, and of course, I’m house trained.

I like going for walks, and I don’t pull on the leash because I’m a “people” dog. 

And I like laying in the sun, but not by myself for very long. 

I don’t mind cats, but I don’t like storms, or loud sounds like motorcycles.
