Driver Dies In Fiery Thanksgiving Day Crash On FL Highway
Investigators are working to identify a driver who died after crashing into a bridge pillar on Interstate 75, FL troopers said.
VENICE, FL — A driver was killed in a fiery Thanksgiving Day crash after hitting a bridge pillar on Interstate 75 near Venice, the Florida Highway Patrol said in a news release.
Investigators are working to identify the driver, who was heading north when their vehicle drove off the highway near mile marker 190 just after 2 p.m.
Their vehicle entered the grass shoulder and hit the bridge pillar for South Moon Pass before catching fire, FHP said.
