Film Festival To Host Town Hall

Sarasota Film Festival will host a Town Hall at Selby Library's Auditorium on Wednesday to address upcoming changes and programs to the festival.

The event will be from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m., Wednesday at the library, 1331 First St. It's free and open to the public.

The Film Festival wants to know what you think, what you want, and wants you to bring questions and insights about what can make the film festival better.

The agenda includes a presentation about upcoming programs, changes to the 2012 Festival followed by a dialogue with the audience, plus raffles and more. Film Festival Director Tom Hall will also address the audience.

The goal of this event is to establish a platform for the community to learn more about how the festival operates, engages staff and leadership in a direct dialogue, according to the festival.
