FL High School ‘Inadvertently’ Put On Lockdown: Sarasota Schools

Construction installation, testing at Sarasota High School led to it "inadvertently" being put on lockdown, district officials said.

SARASOTA, FL — Sarasota High School was “inadvertently” put on a school-wide lockdown Friday morning because of construction installation and testing, officials said.

“We want to assure you that the lockdown was quickly cleared, and at no time were students or staff in any danger,” Craig Maniglia, communications director for Sarasota County Schools, said.
