FL Man Charged In Sharing Child Pornography On Snapchat: Police
Chase Walker, 22, once worked at a children's theater in Sarasota, according to a police report.

SARASOTA, FL — A Florida man who once worked at a Sarasota children's theater was charged in the uploading of child pornography to a popular social media network, according to police.
Chase W. Walker, 22, of Boynton Beach was charged with one count of viewing child pornography.
He was arrested at around 7:30 a.m. Thursday and booked into Orange County Jail in Orlando. It's unclear if bail was set.

The Boyton Police Department received a tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children that someone had uploaded child pornography to Snapchat.
Police were able to confirm that the video in question, which depicted a boy around 10 years old, was uploaded to the social media platform on Aug. 4, 2021, police said. Police were able to trace the uploaded video to Walker, police said.

On Nov. 4, Sarasota police officers met with Chase in Sarasota where he had worked as an acting apprentice with the Children's Theatre, police said. Chase told the officers that he was not on Snapchat after the platform kicked him off following the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children's tip. Chase told the officers that he uploaded the video, police said.
Police showed Chase a photo of the child from the uploaded video at the center of the investigation, police said. Chase said he believed the boy was the child he had talked to online, police said.
It's unclear if Chase has a lawyer.
