"She is a Sarasota Native and has been a bartender, here in town, for 20 years. She has worked at The Sports Page downtown for 12 of those 20 years.
On January 16th, following an ultrasound for a “self discovered mass”, Jen was diagnosed with Invasive Ductal Carcinoma...BREAST CANCER!! Over the next 2 weeks, she underwent a multitude of tests and scans and it was confirmed that there were multiple tumors in both breasts. Her surgeon and oncologist worked together to determine the best treatment plan for Jen."

The Sunday fundraiser at Evie's will benefit Hogan and her family. Hogan has two daughters, who are 14 and 20.

Hogan underwent a double mastectomy, and is now receiving eight weeks of chemotherapy. Another round of chemotherapy is planned, along with radiation therapy.

Sports Pages Bar & Grille, where Hogan had worked, is scheduled to be torn down to make way for condominiums. The bar was located at 1319 Main St.
