Gas Leak Closes Sarasota Roads
Sarasota Police say that the road closures may last from one to two hours. Motorists are being advised to avoid the following areas.
A gas leak has shut down some roads in the city of Sarasota.
Sarasota Police are redirecting traffic on roads that include:
- Boyce Street to U.S. 41.
- Hibiscus Street to McClellan Parkway on Osprey.
Motorists are being asked to avoid these areas.

The roads were closed at about 9 a.m. Tuesday. The closures are expected to last at least one to two hours, police said.
