Gas Line Break Reported In Sarasota County

SARASOTA, FL — First responders were on the scene of a gas line break Tuesday morning along Aspinwall Street in Sarasota County.

"Part of Aspinwall Street and the intersection at Aspinwall Street and North Jefferson Avenue is currently blocked," according to Sarasota County Emergency Services.

The agency said no injuries were reported as a result of the gas line break but motorists were advised to find an alternate route around the affected area.
