Goodwill’s Veterans Services program receives community support
Program supported with contributions from Benderson Development and the Rotary Club of Longboat Key during Veterans Day events
The weekend before Veterans Day, two organizations supported Goodwill Manasota’s Veterans Services program with donations. On November 8, Benderson Development awarded the Veterans Services program a donation of $10,000, while the Rotary Club of Longboat Key presented a Veterans Services program team member with a check for $7,500.
During Santa’s Grand Arrival Parade at UTC, a group from Goodwill Manasota – including the nonprofit organization’s mascot, GoodWilly – participated in the parade. Just prior to the start of the parade, Benderson Development awarded the $10,000 contribution to support the program.
The Rotary Club of Longboat Key presented a $7,500 check benefiting Goodwill Manasota’s Veterans Services Program; it was accepted by Career Development Facilitator Randy Wright during the Town of Longboat Key’s Veterans Day & 70th Anniversary Celebration at Town Center Green.
