‘Helping Others Get Well’: Sarasota Hero
We all know someone who's making a difference. Let's help share these amazing stories! Presented by Ring.

SARASOTA, FL — When times are tough, heroes emerge. We all know someone who's making a difference right now as we live through unprecedented and changing times.
Here at Patch, we've launched an initiative to help recognize these heroes making a difference in their communities. Together with Ring, we’re working to let all your neighbors know about these outstanding people and their stories.
This submission comes from Frank DiMeo, who nominated his wife, Sue DiMeo of Sarasota, for the recognition.

Hometown: Sarasota
Hero's job: Health Care
Relationship to nominee: Spouse
Reason for recognition: She has spent over 30 years helping people as an occupational therapist. Her facility operates under strict Covid-19 guidelines, which makes it extra difficult for her staff to do their jobs. They hardly even have time to get a drink of water all day.
Additional information: Sue had a spinal surgery as a teen and spent a year in a body cast. She has a metal rod in her spine. Later in life, she survived cancer. She is still very dedicated to helping others get well.
Thank you for all you do, Sue DiMeo!
