Hillary Clinton Behind Bars in Florida Yard Display
A Cape Coral resident's yard display features a prison-orange-wearing Hillary Clinton and tombstones for the Americans killed in Benghazi.

CAPE CORAL, FL — Just in time for presidential debate season, a Cape Coral resident has taken a very visible stand against a candidate in the upcoming election. In fact, it seems this person would like to see Democrat Hillary Clinton behind bars.
An elaborate yard display depicting just that has gone up outside the person’s Cape Coral home. A mannequin Clinton is featured in an orange prison jumpsuit sitting behind makeshift bars. She’s flanked by two "Clinton for Prison" campaign signs.
Just a few feet away from the incarcerated Clinton sits a mock cemetery with the names of the four Americans killed in the Sept. 11, 2012, attack in Benghazi, Libya. U.S. Ambassador J. Christopher Stevens, U.S. Foreign Service Information Management Officer Sean Smith and CIA contractors Tyrone S. Woods and Glen Doherty were killed in the terrorist attack.

Clinton, who was secretary of state at the time, took heavy criticism following the attack. Some have blamed Clinton and her State Department for failing to act to adequately to save lives. A number of congressional hearings have been held since the attack. Most, Politifact.com points out, concluded “her department did not adequately address security concerns in Libya or could have done more to prevent the attack.” Even so, no formal charges have ever been filed.
That seems to be a sticking point for the Cape Coral resident.

“Had the hands of a healer, arms of a soldier,” Woods’ tombstone in the Cape Coral yard reads. “Hillary could have saved me.”
The yard display popped up at a time when crucial swing state Florida remains very much up for grabs. A recent New York Times Upshot/Siena College Florida Pollshows Clinton running neck-and-neck with Republican Donald Trump in the Sunshine State.

Clinton led the poll with 41 percent of the vote to Trump’s 40 in a four-way race. Libertarian candidate, former Gov. Gary Johnson, garnered 9 percent of the vote in the poll, with Green Party candidate Jill Stein only taking 2 percent.
In Florida, “Trump has as large a lead among Republicans (78 points) as Clinton does with Democrats (77 points) and independents are evenly split at 34 percent for Trump and 32 percent for Clinton with 18 percent for Johnson,” Siena College poll director Don Levy said in a statement. Men tend to lean toward Trump with women favoring Clinton, he added.
When it comes down to geographical regions, Trump leads in the Tampa Bay area, the central part of the state and the northern regions. Clinton gains support from the southeast part of the state with the southwest still a toss-up, Levy said.
Clinton and Trump are set to faceoff for the first presidential debate on Monday, Sept. 26 at 9 p.m. EST. It will air on all major networks, including ABC, CBS, NBC, Fox and CNN.
