Do you know what to do if you're caught in the middle of a random shooting or mass shooting?
Law enforcement have released a video funded by the Department of Homeland Security on how to survive a situation like that faced last month by moviegoers in Aurora, Col., and at a Sikh temple in Wisconsin—a person with a gun set on shooting random victims.
The advice, given in a movie-like scenario complete with fake blood spatter, screams and office workers armed with metal folding chairs, boils down to these three priorities in this order: run, hide, fight.

The video was produced by the City of Houston Office of Public Safety and Homeland Security, and information about it was released Monday by police in Maryland.
