Hundreds Of Gallons Of Cooking Oil Spill Across I-75 In Sarasota: FHP
Only one lane of I-75 in Sarasota Friday morning after a semi-truck crash spilled cooking oil across multiple lanes, FL Highway Patrol said.

SARASOTA, FL — Hundreds of gallons of cooking oil spilled across multiple lanes of Interstate 75 after a Friday morning crash involving a semi-trailer truck and another truck, according to a Florida Highway Patrol news release.
The crash happened at mile marker 210, just north of Fruitville Road.
The northbound outside lanes are closed because of the crash and spill.

Only the left lane remained open as of 8:30 a.m., FHP said.
Traffic is “very congested” as emergency responders and tow trucks are on the scene, the agency said.
