I-75 Off-Ramp Closing At University Parkway Set
Ongoing work at the I-75, University Parkway interchange is prompting an upcoming off-ramp closing.

SARASOTA, FL — The Florida Department of Transportation is giving motorists who use the Interstate 75/University Parkway Interchange a heads up about an upcoming closing. The southbound off-ramp is set to close in the overnight hours Thursday.
According to FDOT, the temporary closing is necessary so that crews can perform work on overhead signs. Officials expect the closing to last from about 11 p.m. Thursday, July 20 to about 5 a.m. Friday.
Southbound motorists wishing to get off on University Parkway during the closing are asked to keep going south to eastbound Fruitville Road. From there, they can enter northbound I-75 and exit at University Parkway (Exit 213), FDOT wrote in an email to media.
