I-75 S Clear After Crash At Bee Ridge Rd.: Sarasota, Bradenton Traffic

As of 7:17 a.m., drivers are asked to use caution on I-75 south at mile marker 213/University Parkway because of debris in the road, according to the Florida Highway Patrol Live Traffic Crash and Road Condition Report. (Sarasota)

As of 7:19 a.m., there is a vehicle crash on I-75 south at mile marker 207/Bee Ridge Road. The roadway is clear, FHP said. (Sarasota)

As of 7:21 a.m., there was a vehicle crash with injuries on Erie Road near U.S. 301. It’s unknown whether the road is blocked, FHP said. (Parrish)

As of 7:23 a.m., there was a vehicle crash on I-75 south at mile marker 223 near U.S. 301. Troopers arrived at the scene around 7:10 a.m. and the roadway is clear, according to FHP. (Bradenton)

As of 7:25 a.m., the roadway is clear following a vehicle crash at State Road 70 near Caruso Road, FHP said. (Bradenton)

As of 7:30 a.m., construction in DeSoto County is slowing traffic in Arcadia. The eastbound right lane of State Road 70 is blocked from N. Lee Avenue to N. Manatee Avenue, FHP said. (Arcadia)

In Bradenton, the current temperature is 77 degrees, according to AccuWeather. Today’s high is expected to hit 86 degrees with a low of 77.

Weather across the region will be mostly cloudy and humid throughout the day with a chance of afternoon and late-night thunderstorms.

Missing in Manatee County

A 12-year-old girl last seen Saturday night in Bradenton, remains missing in Manatee County. Emma Holmes left her home and might be spending time with friends, the Manatee County Sheriff’s Office said.

An endangered man who threatened to harm himself also remains missing in Bradenton. Andres Vega, 27, was last seen Thursday morning near 9th Avenue West and 14th Street West in Bradenton, the sheriff’s office said.
