I-75 Reopens Near North Port After Myakka River Floods: FHP
A portion of I-75 in the North Port area that shut down Friday because of flooding reopened Saturday afternoon, Florida Highway Patrol said.

NORTH PORT, FL — A portion of Interstate 75 in southern Sarasota County reopened Saturday at 4 p.m. after closing overnight Friday because of rising Myakka River waters following Hurricane Ian’s hit to the region, according to a Florida Highway Patrol news release.
The highway had been closed between exit 179 at Toledo Blade Boulevard in North Port and exit 193 at Jacaranda Boulevard in Englewood.

The exit 182 ramp at Sumter Boulevard in North Port remains closed due to flooding, FHP said.
