Game Show Fans Will Have Chance To Solve Puzzles For Prizes At FL Venue

SARASOTA, FL — The “Wheel of Fortune LIVE!” will make a stop at the Van Wezel Performing Arts Hall later this year.

The live game show will stop in Sarasota on Dec. 17 as part of its 60-city national tour, according to a news release.

The show will be hosted by a celebrity guest, who hasn’t been announced yet.

Fans will have the chance to solve puzzles, win prizes and possibly become a contestant on the

“Wheel of Fortune” television show alongside hosts Ryan Seacrest and Vanna White.

Tickets go on sale May 9 at 10 a.m. and are available at VanWezel.org, by calling the box office at 941-263-6799, or by visiting the box office Monday through Friday between 10 a.m. and 6 p.m. and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Groups of 10 or more should contact 941-263-6726. VIP Packages will also be available to give fans early access, premier seats, pre-show lounge access and photo opportunities to spin the wheel.

Audience members will be randomly selected to come up on stage to spin the famous Wheel and show their skill by calling consonants, buying vowels and solving puzzles.

They’ll have the chance to win trips to destinations like Paris and Hawaii or cash prizes up to $10,000.

New this year, fans of “Wheel of Fortune” will also be able to audition on site for the chance to appear as a contestant on a future episode of the TV show.
