Man Faces 70 Child Porn Related Charges: Sarasota County Sheriff

A Sarasota man was charged with possessing and transmitting child porn images, the sheriff's office said.

SARASOTA, FL — A man was arrested Thursday on 70 counts of child pornography related charges, according to a Sarasota County Sheriff’s Department news release.

Jonathon McNish, 31, of Sarasota was charged with 40 counts of possession of child pornography and 30 counts of transmission of child pornography following a three-month investigation.

After receiving tips through the Internet Crimes Against Children task force, detectives found that he both possessed and transmitted multiple child pornogaphy images.

He is in custody at the Sarasota County Correctional Facility.
