UPDATE: Endangered Man With Alzheimers Found

Sarasota Police are asking the public's help in locating 76-year-old Antonio Olivieri.

UPDATE:

Antonio Olivieri was found at approximately 7:15 a.m. Tuesday, according to Sarsota Police.

A resident near Hillview Street and Orange Avenue reported a stranger knocking at their door, and responding officers found that it was Olivieri.

Earlier: Sarasota Police are asking the public's help in locating 76-year-old Antonio Olivieri.

Olivieri suffers from dementia, Alzheimer's and various medical conditions and was last seen at 5:30 p.m. in the 2900 block of Novus Street in Sarasota, according to police. He's considered missing and endangered and was believed to be on foot.

Olivieri is 5 feet, 7 inches tall, weighs 180 pounds, has brown eyes and balding grey hair, according to police. He is pictured with this story.

Olivieri was wearing a white shirt with flowers on it, and grey pants. 

Officers from the Sarasota Police Department with assistance from the Sarasota County Sheriff’s Office helicopter are searching for Olivieri.   

Anyone with information on the location of Olivieri is asked to contact the Sarasota Police Department at 941-316-1199.
