New Downtown Sarasota Sprouts Sets Grand Opening Date
A 23,000-square-foot Sprouts grocery store will open its doors to shoppers soon. It's part of the One Main Plaza project, reports said.
SARASOTA, FL — The new downtown Sarasota Sprouts grocery store will celebrate its grand opening Sept. 6-8, according to the company’s website.
The natural food and organic grocery store, located at 111 Links Ave., is part of the mixed-use project One Main Plaza.
A ribbon-cutting will take place Sept. 6 at 6:45 a.m. with doors opening at 7 a.m. The first 100 in-store shoppers will receive a reusable bag with samples, while the first 400 customers will receive a free long-stem rose.

The reusable bags will also be given to the first 100 customers on Sept. 7.
Throughout the weekend, there will be free samples of in-store products, a scavenger hunt and other contests.

Sprouts signed a 10-year lease for the 23,000-square-foot grocery, which will be located in One Main Plaza’s Aster & Links complex, the Business Observer reported. The Aster & Links complex will offer 424 apartment units ranging from one to three bedrooms, as well as four penthouses.
Another 55,000 square feet of ground level retail is also planned as part of the project, the Observer said.
