North Siesta Key Bridge Work Continues
Lane closures on the north bridge on Siesta Key will begin Monday night.

A Florida Department of Transporation project to rehabilitate the North Siesta Key Bridge will start its phase of lane closures Monday night.
The project will rehabilitate the bridge at the north end of Siesta Key including structural, mechanical and electrical repairs; structural steel painting and control house renovation.
The contractor began construction Tuesday, June 5. Weather permitting, nightly lane closures are expected to begin tonight between 9 p.m. and 7 a.m. Flagmen will be present during lane closures.

FDOT anticipates the work to be completed in October.
Drivers are advised to use caution and watch for construction workers in the construction zone.
