Orange Avenue Reopens Following Construction

Orange Avenue between 10^th Way and 19^th Street is now open to all traffic following a temporary closure for a drainage improvement project.

To accommodate asphalt milling and re-paving, intermittent lane closes will occur during the second and third weeks of January, according to the City of Sarasota.  A flag crew will be on site to direct traffic.

Road construction will continue on 17^th Street west of Orange Avenue.  Small segments of sidewalk also will be under construction and trees will be planted along Orange Avenue.
