Palmer Ranch Shooting Kills North Port Man
Suspect in shooting is in custody for south Sarasota shooting.

Update:
A North Port man died Sunday night after during an argument at a Palmer Ranch apartment.
Sarasota County Sheriff's Office charged Michael Minor, 27, of 1914 N. Conrad Ave., Sarasota, with attempted first degree murder, attempted robbery with a firearm and burglary with a firearm for the shooting at 5070 Central Sarasota Parkway.

Deputies responded to 5070 Central Sarasota Parkway at 3 p.m. for a reported shooting, according to the Sarasota County Sheriff's Office.
The victim was transported by helicopter to Blake Memorial Hospital for serious injuries. The victim's name is being withheld by the sheriff's office pending notification of next of kin.
Several people are being questioned as persons of interest in the shooting, The Herald-Tribune reports:
“At this point in time, we believe there is no danger to any residents in the community, but the investigation is still continuing,” said sheriff's Lt. Charles Kenniff.
A witness told SNN Local News that she heard an argument, then four shots.
Detectives and forensics specialists are investigating the scene and additional details are pending release, according to the sheriff's office.
