Rock Cocaine, Gun Seized as Convicted Felon Arrested

Sarasota detectives seized more than 50 grams of rock cocaine, a handgun, drug paraphernalia and more than $6,000 in cash earlier this week as they arrested a convicted felon.

Dove Giles, 39, has a history of narcotics arrest, according to Sarasota Police. He was arrested and charged with armed trafficking in cocaine Tuesday as authorities executed a search warrant in the 1100 block of 32nd street.

Seized was 52.3 grams of rock cocaine, 3.8 grams of marijuana, a handgun and ammunition, drug paraphernalia and $6,259 in cash, police said.
