Sarasota Administrative Offices Close for Labor Day

From the City of Sarasota:

SARASOTA, FL - City administration offices will be closed Monday, September 5 in observation of Labor Day.

Garbage, recycling, yard waste and bulk waste collection will be collected one day later:

· Monday collection will be on Tuesday, September 6

· Tuesday collection will be on Wednesday, September 7

Hours of operation at City of Sarasota recreational facilities will vary on the holiday:

· Bobby Jones Golf Club: Regular hours: 6:30 a.m. - 6 p.m.

· Children’s Fountain: Regular hours: 10 a.m. - 7 p.m. (Fall hours begin Tuesday, September 6: 10 a.m. – 5 p.m.)

· Lido Pool: Regular hours: Closed

· Robert L. Taylor Community Complex: 6 a.m. – 10 a.m.

The Regular City Commission meeting will be held one day later on Tuesday, September 6 at 2:30 p.m. and 6 p.m.
