Sarasota Man, 34, Arrested In Child Porn Case
A Sarasota man was charged on Thursday with 40 felony counts of possession of child pornography.

SARASOTA, FL — A 34-year-old Sarasota man faces a long list of felony charges after deputies served a search warrant at his Bee Ridge Road home Thursday.
According to the Sarasota County Sheriff’s Office, its detectives were investigating internet crimes against children when they determined a particular IP address had been used to download 15 files that contained child pornography. That discovery led them to the home of Igor Soshnik.
A warrant to search the home was served on Thursday. Once inside, detectives say they performed a scan of Soshnik’s electronics and found 40 photos and videos containing child pornography. Two laptops, two cellphones, DVDs and CDs were also seized from the home.
