Sarasota Master Gardeners to Host Annual Plant Sale
The event will take place at Twin Lakes Park.
SARASOTA, FL – People with green thumbs in the Sarasota area – and those who are looking to learn how to get a green thumb – can find help this October.
The Sarasota County Master Gardeners will host its 11th Annual Plant Sale on Saturday, Oct. 8 from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Twin Lakes Park, 6700 Clark Road in Sarasota.
The free event will feature sustainable gardening education, landscape problem diagnoses, food vendors and thousands of plants for sale. Proceeds from the sale will benefit the Master Gardeners chapter of the Friends of Sarasota County Parks, which supports Master Gardner education outreach programs in Sarasota County.

Only cash or check purchase can be made at the event. In case of severe weather, the sale will be held on Sunday, Oct. 9.
