Sarasota Prostitution Crackdown Nets 5 Arrests
The Sarasota Police Department has announced the arrest of five men during a recent crackdown on prostitution.
SARASOTA, FL — Five men ranging in age from 20 to 73 face criminal charges following a recent crackdown on prostitution staged by the Sarasota Police Department.
According to the agency, the operation was conducted in the 4200 block of North Tamiami Trail on Thursday, March 9. The arrests were announced on Monday, March 13. In addition to the five arrests, police say three vehicles were also seized under city code.
All five men charged in the operation face solicitation of prostration charges. They are:

- Eugene Goode, 73, of Bradenton
- Frank Myslinksi, 67, of Ellenton
- Jeret Bennett, 29, of Myakka City
- Montel Jackson, 20, of Sarasota
- Richard Downey, 58, of Sebring
The operation was part of an ongoing effort to crackdown on prostitution within the city limits.
