Sarasota Shooting Under Investigation: Police
An early Thursday morning shooting on Waldemere Street is under investigation, Sarasota police said.
SARASOTA, FL — An early Thursday morning shooting in the 2100 block of Waldemere Street is under investigation, according to a Sarasota Police Department news release.
The shooting took place just before 4:30 a.m.
There were no injuries reported in the shooting, police said.

No arrests have been made and investigators are seeking tips to identify the suspect.
